To analyse the effect of lower androgen levels on risk factors for arteriosclerosis of men.
In 30 cases of primary prostate carcinoma (stage A), serum levels of testosterone (T), free testosterone (FT), dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), prostatic specific antigen(PSA), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), apoprotein alpha 1 (APO alpha 1) and apoprotein beta(APO beta), insulin, plasma fibrinopeptide A (FPA), plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1), fibrinogen were determined before and 1 week, 1,4,8 months after castration.
T, FT, PSA decreased significantly 1 week after castration, and kept on decreasing afterwards. DHEA and SHBG were not changed. TG, fasting insulin and glucose, 2-hour insulin and glucose elevated significantly 1 month after castration. TG, LDL-C, FPA and PAI-1 elevated 4 months after castration. Insulin sensitive index(ISI) decreased significantly 1 month after operation (-4.4 +/- 0.4 vs. -3.5 +/- 0.4, P < 0.01). HDL-C, APO alpha 1, APO beta and fibrinogen were not changed. There was a negative linear correlation between FT and TG, TC, LDL-C, PAI-1, FPA, fasting insulin and glucose, 2 h insulin and glucose, so did T.
Lower androgen levels have adverse effect on lipid metabolism, coagulative function and insulin sensitivity, which are related to arteriosclerosis of men.
分析雄激素水平降低对男性动脉粥样硬化危险因素的影响。
选取30例原发性前列腺癌(A期)患者,分别于去势前及去势后1周、1、4、8个月测定血清睾酮(T)、游离睾酮(FT)、脱氢表雄酮(DHEA)、性激素结合球蛋白(SHBG)、前列腺特异性抗原(PSA)、甘油三酯(TG)、总胆固醇(TC)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、载脂蛋白α1(APOα1)、载脂蛋白β(APOβ)、胰岛素、血浆纤维蛋白肽A(FPA)、纤溶酶原激活物抑制剂-1(PAI-1)、纤维蛋白原水平。
去势后1周T、FT、PSA显著下降,之后持续降低。DHEA和SHBG无变化。去势后1个月TG、空腹胰岛素和血糖、2小时胰岛素和血糖显著升高。去势后4个月TG、LDL-C、FPA和PAI-1升高。术后1个月胰岛素敏感指数(ISI)显著降低(-4.4±0.4对-3.5±0.4,P<0.01)。HDL-C、APOα1、APOβ和纤维蛋白原无变化。FT与TG、TC、LDL-C、PAI-1、FPA、空腹胰岛素和血糖、2小时胰岛素和血糖呈负线性相关,T也如此。
雄激素水平降低对脂质代谢、凝血功能和胰岛素敏感性有不良影响,这些与男性动脉粥样硬化有关。
