[The use of the zonal electrophoresis of antibiotics in acute destructive cholecystitis complicated by suppurative cholangitis].

At experimental investigations on 38 adult dogs for studying pharmacokinetics of kanamycin in the bile and liver tissue under the influence of the electric field of constant current, the increase in concentration of the preparation as compared with that in the control group was established. Optimal concentration of kanamycin retained for 14-16 h. Clinical study has shown the high effectiveness of the method for treatment of acute cholangitis suggested.
