Abstract

The p38 MAPKs are members of the MAPK family. Its pathway has been traditionally associated with the stress and immune response. More recently, it has been reported that the p38 MAPKs pathway can also regulate apoptosis and some differentiation process. It can regulate cellular growth and cell cycle checkpoints in different ways depending on the cell type and the stimulus.
