Abstract
Intracranial meningiomas usually develop intradurally with in the confines of the skull. Meningiomas originating in an extradural location are rare. A woman of 69 years had a hard mass located in the left parietal region. The neurological examination and laboratory data were with in normal limits. Plain skull X-rays revealed hyperostotic changes. The meningioma was removed in bloc. And histologically, it was found to be transitional type of menigioma.
摘要
颅内脑膜瘤通常在硬脑膜内、颅骨范围内生长。起源于硬膜外位置的脑膜瘤很罕见。一名69岁女性在左顶叶区域有一硬块。神经系统检查和实验室数据均在正常范围内。头颅X线平片显示有骨质增生改变。脑膜瘤被整块切除。组织学检查发现其为过渡型脑膜瘤。
