Patellar inversion, a new operative technique preliminary results.

The author performed patellar inversion in four knee joints in two patients with problematic patellae. The results to date are favorable, although the procedure is still very new. The author suggests that the inversion may be useful in cases where destruction of the articular surface of the patella, or patellar lateralization and subluxation exist.
