Abstract

A novel one-dimensional manganese(II) azido complex, [Mn2(N3)4(phen)2]n (1), in which the azido bridging ligands take on an unusual new type of combination with the metal center as the sign of [-EO-EO-EO-EE-]n, has been hydrothermally synthesized, and its magnetic properties have been studied.
