Mild chronic bronchial asthma sometimes may be asymptomatic and run without spirometry disturbances despite significant pathophysiological changes in airways. Diagnosis of this kind of asthma consequently is often delayed resulting in improper treatment or even its lack. In this paper pathomechanism and pathophysiology of mild chronic bronchial asthma has been presented. Moreover, step-wise therapeutic procedures, methods of assessment of control of disease symptoms and post-treatment verification of the diagnosis have been discussed.
