To study the chemical constituents in the buds of Tussilago farfara.
The chemical constituents were isolated by various column chromatographic methods and structurally elucidated by NMR and MS evidences.
Eleven compounds were obtained and identified as methyl 3, 4-O-dicaffeoylquinate (1), methyl 3, 5-O-dicaffeoylquinate (2), methyl 4, 5-O-dicaffeoylquinate (3), 3, 5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid (4), methyl 3-O-caffeoylquinate (5), 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid (6), hyperoside (7), rutin (8), kaempferol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (9), quercetin (10), and kaempferol (11).
Compounds 2-5 were isolated from the genus for the first time.

得到11个化合物,分别鉴定为3,4-O-二咖啡酰奎宁酸甲酯(1)、3,5-O-二咖啡酰奎宁酸甲酯(2)、4,5-O-二咖啡酰奎宁酸甲酯(3)、3,5-O-二咖啡酰奎宁酸(4)、3-O-咖啡酰奎宁酸甲酯(5)、3-O-咖啡酰奎宁酸(6)、金丝桃苷(7)、芦丁(8)、山柰酚3-O-β-D-葡萄糖苷(9)、槲皮素(10)和山柰酚(11)。
化合物2 - 5为首次从该属植物中分离得到。
