FRAX is a fracture risk assessment tool developed by WHO collaboration study. Ten-year fracture probability can be calculated by putting fracture risks on Web program. Usefulness and limitations of this algorithm should be respected in using the tool. In the practice of internal medicine, life-style modulation, secondary causes of osteoporosis and pharmacological intervention should be among the factors considered.
FRAX是世界卫生组织合作研究开发的一种骨折风险评估工具。通过将骨折风险输入网络程序可以计算出十年骨折概率。在使用该工具时应尊重此算法的实用性和局限性。在内科实践中，生活方式调整、骨质疏松症的继发原因和药物干预都应是考虑因素。
