A screening of metallurgic plant workers under the conditions of a heat stress revealed the importance of the regulating and activating role of the portal vascular system in hemodynamics, as well as the starting mechanisms of the regulation. It was established that the portal vascular system participated in hydropoiesis in case with profuse perspiration and the latter's topography on the skin. In heat treatment shops with low humidity, drinking of cooled aerated water contributes to the optimal ratio between thermoregulation and the blood circulation systems.
