Much has been written about quality guru W. Edward Deming's quality improvement ideas. But how can his concepts be applied to a health care setting? Michael Pugh, CEO of Parkview Episcopal Medical Center, Pueblo, CO, and key members of his staff talked with Hospitals about what happened when they applied Deming's ideas at their hospital.
