A 27 year old male patient with a subretinal granuloma was diagnosed as having a serologically established toxocara infection (Immunoprecipitation test in living larva). Calcifications could be demonstrated in X-ray and CT-scan imaging. The significance of calcifications for the differential diagnosis of retinoblastoma must be seen in relative terms.
