The study aim was to evaluate whether individualized quantified selective tricuspid valve annuloplasty would be suitable for the treatment of Ebstein anomaly.
Between March 1999 and February 2011, a total of 23 patients with Ebstein anomaly underwent individualized quantified selective tricuspid valve annuloplasty at the authors' institution. The annulus was reconstructed according to each patient's individual anatomic characteristics of their tricuspid valve. Echocardiography was used to assess the changes of tricuspid valve regurgitation and heart function perioperatively and also during the follow up period.
There was no hospital mortality. One patient died suddenly at 41 months after surgery, and two patients were lost to follow up; the remaining patients are still alive. During the follow up, tricuspid valve regurgitation and cardiac function were improved in all patients postoperatively, with no acquired tricuspid stenosis.
The study results and analysis of follow up data suggested that an '...individualized quantified selective concept and technique of tricuspid valve reconstruction' is reasonable, suitable, and practical in the treatment of Ebstein anomaly.
本研究旨在评估个体化定量选择性三尖瓣环成形术是否适用于治疗埃布斯坦畸形。
1999年3月至2011年2月期间,共有23例埃布斯坦畸形患者在作者所在机构接受了个体化定量选择性三尖瓣环成形术。根据每位患者三尖瓣的个体解剖特征重建瓣环。采用超声心动图评估围手术期及随访期间三尖瓣反流和心功能的变化。
无院内死亡。1例患者术后41个月猝死,2例患者失访;其余患者仍存活。随访期间,所有患者术后三尖瓣反流及心功能均得到改善,未出现获得性三尖瓣狭窄。
研究结果及随访数据分析表明,“……三尖瓣重建的个体化定量选择性概念及技术”在治疗埃布斯坦畸形方面是合理、适用且实用的。
