A novel actinobacterium, designated strain NEAU-LZS 42, was isolated from soil collected from Mount Song, Henan Province, China, and characterized using a polyphasic approach. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that the organism should be assigned to the genus Lentzea and had the closest relationship with Lentzea soli NEAU-LZC 7 (99.1 % similarity) and Lentzea cavernae SYSU K10001 (98.2 %). The major menaquinones were identified as MK-9(H4) and MK-9(H2). The phospholipid profile was found to contain diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, hydroxy-phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylinositol mannoside, glycophospholipid and three unidentified lipids. The major fatty acids were iso-C16 : 0, C16 : 1ω7c and C16 : 0. DNA-DNA hybridization results and some phenotypic characteristics indicated that strain NEAU-LZS 42 could be clearly differentiated from L. soli NEAU-LZC 7 and L. cavernae SYSU K10001. Therefore, it is concluded that strain NEAU-LZS 42 represents a novel species of the genus Lentzea, for which the name Lentzea terrae sp. nov. is proposed. The type stain is NEAU-LZS 42 (=CGMCC 4.7428=DSM 105696).
从中国河南省嵩山采集的土壤中分离出一株新型放线菌,命名为菌株NEAU-LZS 42,并采用多相分类法对其进行了表征。基于16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析表明,该菌株应归属于伦茨氏菌属,与土壤伦茨氏菌NEAU-LZC 7(相似度99.1%)和洞穴伦茨氏菌SYSU K10001(相似度98.2%)关系最为密切。主要甲基萘醌被鉴定为MK-9(H4)和MK-9(H2)。发现磷脂谱包含双磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰乙醇胺、羟基磷脂酰乙醇胺、磷脂酰肌醇、磷脂酰肌醇甘露糖苷、糖脂和三种未鉴定的脂质。主要脂肪酸为异-C16 : 0、C16 : 1ω7c和C16 : 0。DNA-DNA杂交结果和一些表型特征表明,菌株NEAU-LZS 42可与土壤伦茨氏菌NEAU-LZC 7和洞穴伦茨氏菌SYSU K10001明显区分开来。因此,得出结论认为,菌株NEAU-LZS 42代表伦茨氏菌属的一个新物种,为此提出新名称土壤伦茨氏菌(Lentzea terrae sp. nov.)。模式菌株为NEAU-LZS 42(=CGMCC 4.7428=DSM 105696)。
