In this study, we determined the complete mitochondrial DNA sequence of the hybrid of (♀) x (♂) for the first time. The complete mitochondrial genome of the hybrid was sequenced to be 16,622 bp in size following the female parent, . The genome contained 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and two main non-coding regions (the control region and the origin of light strand replication). Sequence alignment between the mitochondrial genomes of the hybrid and its female parent showed that a total of 35 mutation sites were identified in 14 genes or regions. The genome information presented here may play an important role in further study on the genetic mechanisms of mitochondrial DNA in hybrids.
在本研究中,我们首次测定了(♀)×(♂)杂交种的完整线粒体DNA序列。该杂交种的完整线粒体基因组测序结果显示,其大小为16,622 bp,遵循母本的特征。该基因组包含13个蛋白质编码基因、22个转运RNA基因、两个核糖体RNA基因以及两个主要的非编码区域(控制区和轻链复制起点)。杂交种与其母本线粒体基因组之间的序列比对表明,在14个基因或区域中总共鉴定出35个突变位点。本文提供的基因组信息可能对进一步研究杂交种中线粒体DNA的遗传机制发挥重要作用。
