Abstract

The complete mitochondrial genome of a marine fish was completely sequenced by the high throughput sequencing method. This complete mitochondrial genome was 16,497 bp in length, consisted of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes and one large non-coding region. The gene arrangement of is identical to those in typical fishes. Phylogenetic tree based on 13 protein-coding genes shows that Siganidae has a closer phylogenetic relationship to Luvaridae than to Ephippidae or Scatophagidae.

通过高通量测序方法对一种海洋鱼类的完整线粒体基因组进行了全序列测定。该完整线粒体基因组长度为16,497 bp,由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因、两个rRNA基因和一个大的非编码区组成。其基因排列与典型鱼类的相同。基于13个蛋白质编码基因构建的系统发育树表明,篮子鱼科与月鱼科的系统发育关系比与蝙蝠鱼科或金钱鱼科的更近。
