Cleft lip and palate is a major problem that disrupts the child's family life. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of combined education on the knowledge and care and supportive performance of parents with children with cleft lip and palate. This is a clinical trial study was conducted on 40 parents referring to hospitals. The data were collected using the demographic information questionnaire, the questionnaire of parental knowledge and care supportive performance questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and analytical tests. After education the intervention group, the mean score of parents' care and supportive knowledge significantly increased in the intervention group as compared to the control group. There was also a significant difference in the mean score of parents' care-supportive performance between the two groups ( < 0.001). It is recommended to use the combined education as an effective method to increase knowledge and performance in parents of children with cleft lip and palate.
唇腭裂是一个严重影响孩子家庭生活的问题。本研究旨在探讨综合教育对唇腭裂患儿家长知识水平以及护理和支持能力的影响。这是一项针对40名到医院就诊的家长开展的临床试验研究。通过人口统计学信息问卷、家长知识问卷以及护理支持能力问卷收集数据,并使用描述性和分析性测试进行分析。对干预组进行教育后,与对照组相比,干预组家长的护理和支持知识平均得分显著提高。两组家长护理支持能力的平均得分也存在显著差异(<0.001)。建议采用综合教育作为提高唇腭裂患儿家长知识水平和能力的有效方法。
