Abstract

The first complete mitochondrial genome of the micro-whip-scorpion () was assembled from Illumina-based whole genome sequencing. The circular genome is 14,309 bp in length with 13 protein coding genes, 22 tRNA, 2 rRNAs, and a control region. The A + T content of the mitogenome is 76.6%. Maximum likelihood phylogenetic analyses placed as a sister group of (Thelyphonida + Amblypygi), but more mitogenomes of Tetrapulmonata need to be included in further analyses for a conclusive decision about the group systematics.

基于Illumina的全基因组测序组装出了微鞭蝎()的首个完整线粒体基因组。该环状基因组长度为14309 bp,包含13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA、2个rRNA和一个控制区。线粒体基因组的A+T含量为76.6%。最大似然法系统发育分析将微鞭蝎置于(鞭蝎目+无鞭目)的姐妹群位置,但对于该类群的系统发育,还需要纳入更多四肺目动物的线粒体基因组进行进一步分析,才能得出确凿结论。
