Abstract

In response to the global burden of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the critical role antimicrobial stewardship plays in optimizing antibiotic use and reducing the subsequent emergence of AMR, is excited to add a new section to the journal focused on antimicrobial stewardship studies. Combatting the devastating burden of AMR requires novel, multipronged approaches from clinicians and scientists alike. Launching this new section is an important step in disseminating cutting-edge research that will have notable implications in the global fight against antimicrobial-resistant pathogens.

针对全球抗菌药物耐药性(AMR)负担以及抗菌药物管理在优化抗生素使用和减少随后出现的 AMR 方面所发挥的关键作用, 期刊感到非常兴奋,将在期刊中增加一个专注于抗菌药物管理研究的新版块。要应对 AMR 带来的破坏性负担,临床医生和科学家都需要采取新颖的、多管齐下的方法。推出这个新版块是传播具有重大意义的前沿研究的重要一步,这将对抗全球对抗抗菌药物耐药性病原体的斗争产生显著影响。
