[Postoperative complications in colonic cancer patients].

The immediate results of radical surgery in 367 cases of colonic cancer were analysed. The rate of postoperative complications was found to be in correlation with the surgical procedure and certain indexes of homeostasis. Complications developed in 50.4% of cases, pyo-inflammatory ones--in 162 cases. 71.2% of cases of postoperative peritonitis were due to failure of intestinal anastomosis.
