Abstract
Percutaneous pulmonary thrombectomy using the AngioJet device is a feasible option for the management of acute pulmonary embolism with a clot in transit in selected high-risk patients. Further large-scale studies are needed to better establish the safety and efficacy of percutaneous thrombectomy for clot in transit in high-risk populations.
