Cranial defects were repaired with finely fragmentized bone in 125 patients (117 males and 8 females). The ages of the patients ranged from 2 to 56 years. In some patients two defects were repaired. The injury to the skull-cap was open in 90 and closed in 15 patients. The size of the defects was 2 to 12 cm. Complications (suppuration) were encountered in 3 patients.
