Abstract

A 42-year-old patient with an ulcerative left tonsil that was not particularly painful was examined. The routine blood test for syphilis was reactive. The patient was found to have a chancre of the left tonsil. Painless ulcers of the left tonsil in a sexually active individual should be considered as possibly syphilitic.

对一名42岁的患者进行了检查，其左侧扁桃体有溃疡性病变，但疼痛并不特别明显。梅毒常规血液检查呈阳性。发现该患者左侧扁桃体有下疳。性活跃个体出现左侧扁桃体无痛性溃疡应考虑可能为梅毒所致。
