[Rupture of the corpora cavernosa (clinical observations)].

The authors performed emergency operation for rupture of the cavernous bodies in 2 patients whose urethra remained intact. The defect of the bodies and tunica albuginea was repaired by placing interrupted catgut sutures. Postoperative policy included antiinflammatory and resolving modalities. 10-year follow-up results were satisfactory. Complications did not occur. The patients retained sex function.
