The authors present the case of 51 year old woman admitted to surgical unit from dermatology because of symptoms of diffuse peritonitis urgent laparotomy revealed perforated ulcer of terminal ileum. Segmental resection of small bowel with end to end anastomosis was septic coli peritonitis performed, histologically with non-specific appearance. On 7th postoperative day the patient died. The cause of death was septic coli peritonitis with dehiscence of anastomosis.
