Abstract
Fine needle aspiration biopsy for cytologic evaluation of mass lesions of the kidney, renal pelvis and adrenal is a safe economic and accurate diagnostic procedure. Tumors and inflammatory or degenerative lesions arising from these organs have characteristic cytologic features permitting their correct identification in the majority of cases.
