After repeated stimulation of hypothalamic ventro-medial nuclei with square electrical stimuli, swimming during 20 min with a load equal to 10% of body weight increases the weight of adrenal glands, the width of the cortical layer, and the width of glomerular fascicular, and reticular zones, decreasing at the same time the ascrobinic acid and cholesterin contents in the gland as well as the eosinophil content in the peripheral blood. After lesion of the ventro-medial nuclei, the same effects of the swimming are less obvious than in normal, with no stimulation whatever.
用方形电刺激反复刺激下丘脑腹内侧核后,在负重相当于体重10%的情况下游泳20分钟,会增加肾上腺重量、皮质层宽度、束状带和网状带宽度,同时会降低肾上腺中抗坏血酸和胆固醇含量以及外周血中嗜酸性粒细胞含量。损毁腹内侧核后,同样的游泳效应不如正常情况下明显,且无论有无刺激都是如此。
