Hosiptal personnel administration programs have the potential to contain costs in a variety of areas, including human resources management, payroll costs, benefits costs, labor turnover, and recruitment costs. Recognizing this, the Maine Society for Hospital Personnel Administration presented a seminar and prepared a guide for trustees and administrators on the role that personnel administration can play in the Voluntary Effort to contain costs.
