Abstract
Is the pathologist seeking a job the kind of pathologist the laboratory director wants to hire? The author of this article emphasizes that all pathologists, not just residency training program directors, must be aware of changing needs if new pathologists are to possess the necessary qualifications for practice in the 1980s and 1990s.
