Less than a year after installing its own dedicated data processing system, the 217-bed Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado developed a computerized program that per forms all of the functions of the manual GRASP system for determining patient care requirements. It is one of the few hospitals in the U.S. and Canada to have computerized the system and is believed to be the first to implement it on a minicomputer.
