Marfan's syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder that involves the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and ocular systems. Displaying a highly variable array of symptoms and course, the disease is underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed. Since Marfan's syndrome can have fatal consequences, advance practice and other adult health nurses need to recognize and manage its symptoms.
