[Diagnostic difficulties with differentiating noninfectious diseases with coexisting cerebrospinal fluid changes--personal observations from the Department of Infectious Diseases, Jagiellonian University in Cracow].

We present two cases of women admitted to our department with suspicion of meningitis. They were transferred from Neurology Unit. CSF changes found in both cases were not of infectious origin. Authors pay attention to diagnostic difficulties in such cases.
