Abstract
This article provides an overview of recent changes to federal law that physicians should be aware of The Final Compliance Program Guidance for Individual and Small Group Practices, the HIPAA privacy regulations, and the Fraud and Abuse Safe Harbors are discussed specifically. Also addressed are miscellaneous tax changes and the lapse of the Advisory Opinions.
