To introduce a modified flap pedicled with the second dorsal metacarpal artery.
Seven thumb wounds were repaired with the second dorsal metacarpal artery flap. The size of the flap ranged from 1 cm x 3 cm to 2 cm x 4 cm, and the length of the vascular pedicle was 6 to 7 cm.
All flaps survived and the results were satisfactory.
This method is an option for repairing thumb defects when the local skin flap or island flap on the index and middle finger is not available.
介绍一种以第二掌背动脉为蒂的改良皮瓣。
采用第二掌背动脉皮瓣修复7例拇指创面。皮瓣大小为1cm×3cm至2cm×4cm，血管蒂长度为6至7cm。
所有皮瓣均成活，效果满意。
当无法采用示指和中指的局部皮瓣或岛状皮瓣时，该方法是修复拇指缺损的一种选择。
