[A "litterary" mental case in the beginning of the century. Sven Delblanc's reverend Samuel at Kristinehamn mental hospital].

The well known Swedish writer Sven Delblanc describes in the novel Samuel's book the fate of his maternal grandfather whose name was Axel Nordfält (in the novel called Samuel). The case records and the reverend Nordfälts stay in a psychiatric asylum and the treatment he was given there is described. He later died from pulmonary tuberculosis contracted in the asylum.
