Abstract

Possible association of Chlamydia pneumoniae and multiple sclerosis is the subject of recent interest. The findings concerning the isolation of the agent from CSF and tissue from postmortem brain are controversial, similarly as absorption of oligoclonal bands in CSF by this antigen. The hypothesis should be further studied to establish whether an association of Ch. pneumoniae with MS exists or not.

肺炎衣原体与多发性硬化症之间可能存在的关联是近期备受关注的课题。关于从脑脊液以及尸检大脑组织中分离出该病原体的研究结果存在争议,同样地,这种抗原对脑脊液中寡克隆带的吸收情况也存在争议。这一假说应进一步研究,以确定肺炎衣原体与多发性硬化症之间是否存在关联。
