[In-vitro and in-vivo studies on the percutaneous absorption of systemic P 32-labelled insecticide organophosphorus compounds in cattle].

The influence of chemical composition and formulation on the absorption of radiophosphorus-labelled trichlorphon, butonate and dimethoate was investigated with isolated strips of bovine skin. Other factors studied were polarity of the solvent, concentration of pesticide, and effect of surface-active agents and dimethyl sulphoxide. Absorption experiments were also carried out on cattle and sheep, and the results were compared with those of the in vitro tests.
