Although the number of bone dysplasias and their variable forms of expression seem to be increasing almost daily, in almost all instances orthopedic disease is detected at rather specific locations--the cervical spine, the thoracic and lumbar spine, and the knee and hips--and the orthopedic deformity is surprisingly constant.
