Abstract
The impact of nursing care on client outcomes must be visible if nursing is to obtain its share of the health care dollar. The first step in substantiating nursing's input on health care is to describe the responsibilities for which nurses are accountable. The ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice (1991a) identify those responsibilities, setting the stage for implementing practice guidelines.

如果护理行业想要在医疗保健费用中分得一杯羹，护理服务对患者治疗结果的影响就必须是显而易见的。证实护理在医疗保健中作用的第一步是描述护士应承担责任的范围。美国护士协会《临床护理实践标准》（1991a）确定了这些责任，为实施实践指南奠定了基础。
