[History of Lithuanian-Czech relations in medicine].

Lithuanian medical history and the Lithuanian-Czech relation in medicine since the beginning of the 16th century till present are reviewed. Regarding the origin of relations and their historical circumstances the theme is categorised into several periods. Long lasting relations between Lithuania and Czech countries in medicine has fostered not only professional contacts of specialists of both countries, but also to the mutual cultural recognition.
