Abstract

Phytotoxicity of Al is becoming one of the most serious problems in limiting plant growth on acid soils. Under Al stress, a number of plant species, cultivars or genotypes exhibit inheritable tolerance by organic acid secretion which is specific to Al stress and localized to the root apex. Citric acid, oxalic acid and malic acid are thought to be the most effective organic acids in detoxifying Al. Organic acid detoxifies Al both extracellular and intracellular. Two exudation patterns and their related speculation are introduced in this review. The possible factors responsible for the organic acid secretion are discussed, which are also the research focuses in this field. At last, we put forward our perspective in the field.

铝的植物毒性正成为限制酸性土壤上植物生长的最严重问题之一。在铝胁迫下,许多植物物种、品种或基因型通过分泌有机酸表现出可遗传的耐受性,这种有机酸是铝胁迫特有的,且定位于根尖。柠檬酸、草酸和苹果酸被认为是解除铝毒性最有效的有机酸。有机酸在细胞外和细胞内都能解除铝的毒性。本文综述了两种分泌模式及其相关推测。讨论了可能导致有机酸分泌的因素,这些也是该领域的研究重点。最后,我们提出了我们在该领域的观点。
