[Investigation of external auditory meatus secretion demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection in college students].

OBJECTIVE

To investigate the distribution of demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection in the external auditory meatus of college students, that may to guide prevention and treatment.

METHOD

Ma F. Method was applied to investigate the external auditory meatus secretion demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection on 613 college students.

RESULT

Positive date were 11.58%, it was indifferent in fame or male. Cases of the external auditory meatus demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection complained constant scratching anitch (67.6%), that was more in positive cases than in negative case.

CONCLUSION

Scratching anitch in external auditory meatus may have close relationship with demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection.
