Abstract
The authors tested experimentally and in clinical practice the Czechoslovak Nd:YAG laser Medicalas in the treatment of rectal and rectosigmoid cancer. The advantage of the apparatus is work two vavelengths: 1.064 microns and 1.32 microns. For treatment they use two steps with in an interval of 4-5 days. Hitherto assembled experience with the laser technique is favourable.
