[Viability of Bacillus and Pseudomonas bacteria in nitrate-polluted marine and river water].

Influence of nitrates on some bacterial species development was strictly depended on temperature and levels of water pollution. The bacterial activity in the river water increased with nitrate concentrations from 0.2 to 2 g/l. The concentrations of nitrates 20 g/l inhibited the bacterial development.
