Abstract

Vegetation was sampled on the old street system of Wahmonie, Nevada, and on a less disturbed area immediately adjacent. The vegetation on the denuded upland site showed a large increase in bunch-grass and an invasion by pioneer shrubs which ordinarily are chiefly confined to dry washes.
