2130 inpatients with peptic ulcer have been examined for clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects with reference to ulcer site. Differential diagnosis and therapeutic policy are discussed for cardial, middle-gastric , pyloric, extra-bulbar and multiple ulcers.
