To investigate motor evoked potentials during short term L-arginine infusion in cerebral vasospasm after experimental subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Three groups were designated for this study: control group, subarachnoid hemorrhage-saline infusion group, and subarachnoid hemorrhage-L-arginine infusion group. A subarachnoid hemorrhage was created by intracisternal injection of autologous blood in New Zealand rabbits. At the fourth day of subarachnoid hemorrhage, latency and amplitude of motor evoked potentials were recorded during intracarotid saline and L-arginine infusion, and compared with motor evoked potential parameters of the control group.
Motor evoked potential latencies were increased, and amplitudes were decreased in all animals before saline and L-arginine infusion on the fourth day of subarachnoid hemorrhage. A decrease in latencies as well as an increase in motor evoked potential amplitudes was observed with short-term intracarotid L-arginine infusion.
Intracarotid short term L-arginine infusion significantly improves motor evoked potential parameters after experimental subarachnoid hemorrhage.
研究实验性蛛网膜下腔出血后短期输注L-精氨酸期间的运动诱发电位。
本研究分为三组:对照组、蛛网膜下腔出血-生理盐水输注组和蛛网膜下腔出血-L-精氨酸输注组。通过向新西兰兔脑池内注射自体血制造蛛网膜下腔出血。在蛛网膜下腔出血后的第4天,在颈内动脉输注生理盐水和L-精氨酸期间记录运动诱发电位的潜伏期和波幅,并与对照组的运动诱发电位参数进行比较。
在蛛网膜下腔出血后第4天,所有动物在输注生理盐水和L-精氨酸之前,运动诱发电位潜伏期延长,波幅降低。短期颈内动脉输注L-精氨酸可观察到潜伏期缩短以及运动诱发电位波幅增加。
实验性蛛网膜下腔出血后,短期颈内动脉输注L-精氨酸可显著改善运动诱发电位参数。
