Abstract
Immunization of animals with a polypeptide fragment of the streptococcal group A M protein (pep M) conjugated with a synthetic copolymer caused a significant increase in the titres of bactericidal type-specific antibodies. In some cases bactericidal antibodies to streptococci of other types were also induced.

用与合成共聚物偶联的A组链球菌M蛋白多肽片段（pep M）对动物进行免疫接种，可使杀菌型特异性抗体的滴度显著升高。在某些情况下，还可诱导出针对其他类型链球菌的杀菌抗体。
