[Use of antimicrobial drug in pediatrics].

Criteria which make possible the best evaluation of usefulness of some/certain antibiotics are listed. Classification of antibiotics based on the main characteristics of the microbial causative agents is given. Practical usefulnes of the antimicrobial drugs in treatment of the most frequent and the most significant infections in children is evaluated. Review of medications which cannot be recommended in childhood is given.
