[The influence of personality attributes on functional results of ankle fractures treatment].

AIM OF OUR STUDY

To evaluate an influence anxiety and motivation on clinical results of treatment.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The personality attributes like anxiety and motivation for rehabilitation were examined in 106 patients after ankle fractures. Authors used the Spilberger's questioner and own questioner of motivation to rehabilitation.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

The influence of anxiety is important especially on rehabilitation after operation. Orthopaedic, psychological and rehabilitation cooperation is useful to reduce an anxiety during treatment. A motivation as the personality attribute determinate all rehabilitation process but it needs evaluation and control by therapeutics.
